Film Screenings

At Lianna, film is more than a medium—it’s a mirror, a question, a conversation starter.

Our film screening series creates space for quiet reflection, critical engagement, and emotional connection through moving image. Whether fiction, documentary, or experimental work, each screening is curated to spark dialogue around personal and collective experience—touching on themes like identity, memory, ritual, care, and transformation.

The programme often extends from our exhibitions or artist collaborations, deepening the experience of the work and introducing new ways of seeing. Post-screening conversations with filmmakers, artists, and the audience are central—offering room to sit with difficult truths, share responses, and imagine new language around film and feeling.

This initiative is part of Lianna’s commitment to accessible, interdisciplinary learning—where storytelling becomes a tool for knowledge, healing, and community.
