As the closing event for SONDER, Lianna Foundation & Gallery hosted a hands-on charcoal drawing workshop led by exhibiting artist Akíntòmídé Aluko.

The session invited participants to engage with the exhibition’s central themes—presence and perception—through a series of guided exercises in observational sketching, mark-making, and emotional mapping. Set in an intimate and relaxed environment, the workshop became a reflective extension of the exhibition itself: a space to slow down, look closer, and translate fleeting moments into form.

The event reaffirmed Lianna’s commitment to artist-led education and ongoing collaboration, offering visitors not just a closing, but a continuation—of thought, practice, and process.
